PAIA Manual
This manual is intended for a private body under section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (“PAIA”), read with applicable POPIA requirements.

2. PAIA Guide
The Information Regulator publishes a guide explaining how to use PAIA. The current guide, official forms and contact details are available from the Information Regulator’s PAIA resources.
3. Records available without a formal PAIA request
- Published website content and legal policies.
- Public marketplace listings and business links.
- Public marketing material and publicly released notices.
4. Records held
- Corporate, governance, statutory and tax records.
- Supplier, contractor, hosting and service-provider records.
- Website, domain, security, technical and operational records.
- Marketplace listing metadata and correspondence.
- Complaint, takedown, correction, privacy and access-request records.
- Financial and accounting records where applicable.
- Personnel records where applicable.
- Policies, procedures, agreements and intellectual-property records.
5. Applicable legislation
Records may be kept under legislation applicable to the operator and its activities, including POPIA, PAIA, the Companies Act, tax legislation, labour legislation, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and the Consumer Protection Act, where applicable. This list is not exhaustive.
6. POPIA processing records
Categories of data subjects, information, purposes, recipients, transfers and security measures are described in the POPIA Privacy Notice and Privacy Policy.
7. Request procedure
A requester must use the prescribed PAIA form, provide sufficient detail to identify the record and requester, state the right to be exercised or protected, explain why the record is required, and pay any fee lawfully applicable. Requests must be sent to the Information Officer.
8. Grounds for refusal
Access may be refused on grounds provided by PAIA, including protection of third-party privacy, commercial information, confidential information, safety, legal privilege, research information or the operator’s own commercial information.
9. Availability
This manual is available on https://blitzboommarketplace.com and from the Information Officer. A copy may be supplied subject to any lawful reproduction or access fee.
