Review process
The operator may acknowledge the complaint, preserve relevant evidence, temporarily restrict a listing, request more information, notify the listing owner where appropriate and decide whether to correct, restore or remove it. Urgent credible reports involving fraud, malware, safety or unlawful disclosure may receive priority.
Counter-notices
A listing owner may provide evidence contesting a restriction. Restoration depends on the available facts, applicable law, risk and platform policy.
No abuse of process
Knowingly false, intimidating or abusive notices may be rejected and may create legal consequences for the sender.
This document is a practical website template and must be completed with the operator’s correct legal identity, contact details and actual processing practices. Obtain advice from a qualified South African legal or POPIA professional before relying on it.
