Responsible party
BlitzBoom Marketplace is the responsible party for personal information it determines the purpose and means of processing, unless a client engagement expressly places us in an operator role processing information on that client's instructions.
Categories of information
Depending on your relationship with us, we may process identity and contact details, business details, account credentials, project specifications, uploaded project content, transaction and invoice records, correspondence and necessary technical/security data.
Purpose and justification
Processing takes place where necessary to provide requested services, perform or prepare a contract, meet legal obligations, protect legitimate business or security interests, or where valid consent has been given and is appropriate.
Recipients and operators
Authorised staff, contractors and service providers may receive information only to the extent required for hosting, communications, development, security, payment administration, accounting or professional services. Operators are expected to protect information and process it only for authorised purposes.
Cross-border processing
Some infrastructure or software providers may process data outside South Africa. Where this occurs, we seek to use reputable providers and appropriate contractual or legal safeguards consistent with applicable POPIA requirements.
Security safeguards
We apply reasonable access controls, authenticated sessions, secure password storage, restricted project-file access, logging and other safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed.
Data subject rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access, request correction or deletion, object to certain processing, request restriction where applicable, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
