Custom development work
Website, app and custom software projects involve time reserved for planning, design and development. For this reason, payments for work already performed, third-party costs already incurred, or non-refundable licences/services are generally not refundable merely because a client later changes direction.
Deposits and milestones
A quotation may require a deposit or milestone payments. The specific quotation or written agreement takes priority over this general policy. If a project is cancelled, we may calculate work completed and committed costs up to the cancellation date before determining any amount that remains refundable.
Duplicate or incorrect payments
If you believe you made a duplicate payment or paid an incorrect amount, contact us promptly with the invoice number and payment reference so the transaction can be investigated.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove rights that a consumer has under applicable South African law where those rights cannot lawfully be waived.
How to cancel
Project cancellations should be submitted in writing. A cancellation is not considered complete until it has been acknowledged and any outstanding work, handover, account or payment matters have been resolved.
