BlitzBoom Marketplace operates an online advertising marketplace where users can publish business, service and product advertisements and purchase Premium advertising exposure.
2. Information we may collect
- Account information such as your name, email address and authentication records.
- Business and listing information you submit, including descriptions, contact details, locations, links and advertising images.
- Billing, invoice, subscription and payment-reference information required for Premium advertising and financial records.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser information, sessions, security logs and error information where reasonably necessary.
- Communications with us, including listing, payment and account support enquiries.
3. Why we process information
- To register and secure user accounts.
- To publish, review and manage marketplace advertisements.
- To process Premium advertising subscriptions and Yoco payment confirmations.
- To issue invoices, record payments and keep legally required accounting records.
- To provide support, prevent fraud and enforce marketplace rules.
- To comply with legal, regulatory and tax obligations.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with hosting, email, payment and other service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the marketplace, provide security or meet legal obligations.
5. Public listing information
Information intentionally included in an approved advertisement may be publicly visible, including listing names, descriptions, photos, contact details, websites, social links and locations. Do not publish information you do not want made public.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for marketplace operations, disputes, fraud prevention and applicable record-keeping obligations. Financial and tax records may be retained for statutory periods.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards including password hashing, authenticated account access, server-side validation, protected administration areas and payment verification through trusted payment providers.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information where applicable and exercise other rights available under POPIA. See our Data Subject Rights page.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when our marketplace, legal obligations or processing practices change.
